Durgon has been wandering alone for some time now, though it was not always this way. Slowly, quietly, he withdrew from his tribe and, if he’s being honest, he knows why. He carries only a small lantern now, the last flicker of his life juice still burning. For Durgon feels blue all over, blue to his very core, a blue that has coloured his skin. And yet inside, there be dragons, heating up his insides. ‘Are they friend or foe?’ he wonders. Yet he finds himself standing on the edge, peering over, wondering how he got here.
